The story follows Hamza Ali Mazari (played by Ranveer Singh), an Indian spy infiltrated into the notorious gang of Rahman Dakait(played by Akshaye Khanna) leading to a brotherly bond and trust formed between the duo.
The film stands out for its raw and unfiltered depiction of the dangerous conditions that a spy undergoes in order to gather intel for his country, though his life is stake at every moment. Aditya Dhar’s direction is straight-forward, engaging and ambitious, especially in the scenes based on historic real-life terror incidents. Ranveer Singh steals the spotlight with his impeccable performance, emphasizing on high-intensity emotion portrayal through his eyes.
